An important milestone for the AZ Group: The ASME survey was successfully passed back in November. This means that the next step towards ASME certification has been completed.
The official certificate was issued at the end of December 2025, and the N-stamp was also received at the end of 2025. This certification authorizes AZ to carry out orders in accordance with ASME Section III – the relevant standard for nuclear applications. This significantly expands the range of possible orders: Whereas previously it was mainly possible to request components and services outside the reactor (outside containment), in future projects within the secondary and tertiary circuits will also be possible (inside containment).
In order to bundle the activities organizationally, the new company AZ Nuclear Division GmbH was founded, to which the certificate refers.
